Dr. Callender is a board-certified dermatologist internationally recognized for her expertise in hair loss in women and pigmentary disorders. A distinguished leader in dermatology, she has served as President of the American Dermatological Association, the Skin of Color Society, the Women’s Dermatologic Society, and the National Medical Association’s Dermatology Section. She has also served on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the American Academy of Dermatology and is the current President of the American Acne & Rosacea Society. Throughout her career, she has played an influential role nationally and internationally in advancing dermatologic care and helping shape policy, education, and research priorities related to skin of color and equitable patient care.
